This is a quality office desk, the Make-to-order (MTO) type.
The white top is 25mm thick and below it is a supporting steel frame that connects the two legs.
The materials used to built the desk base are a mix of steel and cast aluminium. The reason behind this is to have a strong desk but not overly heavy to transport. The steel parts are powder coated to avoid rust.
Definitely top quality if you’ve been looking for one that is not expensive.
